RE: Atwood Water Heater Help!!
I had an older Atwood that was doing this, after cleaning the tube and replacing thermocouple, it still worked the same way. I took the valve off and took it apart. The valve has a plunger that works like a solonoid. It was all gummed up. I cleaned it and put the valve back together and it worked fine. Be sure and check for gas leaks after you put it back.

I always wait patiently. Then take my turn. Drain all 3 tanks , then hook up cleanout hose and let it fill the black tank and drain it three times. Then Im ready to go and then its your turn. Patients goes a long ways.

Get some spray insulation at Home Depot. Get under and fill all holes and cracks where wires and water lines enter, and any place else you might find. Then go inside and open all cabinets and do the same, drain pipes ETC. I had mice once , did this and no mice last three years.

My Cedar Creek didnt come with one. But it was supposed to. I bought mine used so it was up to me to install one. Alot better now, no heat build up while cooking. and Microwave works better.

On a TV program on the news. It was stated by a spokesman from I think it was Ford or it could have been GM dont quote me. He said up to 20% should not cause any problems, any more then that could cause computer problems and maybe other malfunctions. Sounded to me like they had done some testing. JMO

Do what Pirate says all good info. What caused the overheating to start with. Bearing or brakes if brakes either calipher froze up or lines collapsed.

Try the Branson City campground. We stay there every time we go to Branson. Cheaper and not fancy, but the people you meet there are the best. Its right downtown next to the new mall. Within walking distance of alot of reasturants and shows.
